Communicative Researcher
Maddison Marie Dunnegan Russell was born on May 12th, 1996, in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. Maddison is a queer, nonbinary scholar who seeks to reveal and magnify hidden voices within the LGBTQIA+ community. At the age of 18, Maddison moved to Columbia, Missouri to pursue their undergraduate education at The University of Missouri-Columbia. In the spring of 2018, they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a focus in Communication Studies, and a minor in Human Development and Family Science. After graduation, Maddison decided to go to graduate school and pursue their Master of Arts in Communication Studies at Saint Louis University. Maddison focuses on Critical Family-Interpersonal communicative research and translational research. They expect to receive their Masters in August 2020 and go on to achieve their PhD at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida starting the fall of 2020.
